with programmes that travel from Bach, Beethoven and Brahms to contemporary voices and composers the repertoire nearly lost.
Years in the leader’s and concertmaster’s chair across Scandinavia taught me something a soloist’s training doesn’t always:
It’s an event in a room, shared with the people in it. Some of the performances that shaped me most were given through Musethica in Zaragoza – not only in concert halls, but in maximum-security prisons, hospitals, care homes and rehabilitation centres, for people classical music rarely reaches. That experience changed how I think about what a concert is for.
Whether you’re planning an intimate recital, a chamber programme, or an evening that pairs music with a few words about where it came from, I like to create something that fits the room and the audience in front of it.
Explore recital and chamber programmes, including one built around the rediscovered music of Laura Netzel. Contact me to discuss timings, instrumentation and repertoire for your event.
Everything you’d want before reaching out is here – recordings, programme notes, biography and downloadable programmes. And if it’s helpful, a recital can also grow into a wider artistic project – an introduction to the repertoire, a masterclass, or an educational event connected to the programme.
“Agata is very musical, has
a beautiful tone, phenomenal technique, and is reliable as well as an exceptionally pleasant leader. I would highly recommend her as a concertmaster or section leader.”
“An extremely competent concertmaster who always exudes calm and stability, while at the same time being a brilliant musician with great musicality and excellent solo qualities.”
“She is a reliable and dedicated musician who is always well-prepared and ready to meet the demands of the job. I am confident she will be an asset to any orchestra she joins.”
“Agata has a remarkable ability to convey specific knowledge about musical leadership in chamber music, enabling the ensemble to function as a single instrument.”
Amanda Maier — Violin Sonata in B minor, performed by Agata Kawa-Cajler.
